Editorial Week-in-Review
A week full of news regarding the auto industry -- it is looking pretty grim for GM and Chrysler -- I cant help but wonder how Ford has been doing since we don't really hear much about them from the White House...? Anyway, this one starts out with last week's prime-time news conference. This time, I was ready for Helen Thomas to make some news with more ridiculous off-subject questions, but sadly, the President skipped over her name this time!

March 24th, 2009, Washington, D.C.: Hearst newspaper columnist HELEN THOMAS sits in the East Room of the White House prior to President Barack Obama's second prime time news conference since taking office. Obama's conference focused mainly on our economy, about which President Obama said "We will recover from this recession. But it will take time, it will take patience, and it will take an understanding that when we all work together; when each of us looks beyond our own short-term interests to the wider set of obligations we have to each other - that’s when we succeed."
